Last Friday after docking in South Melbourne I went for a quick nana nap and then headed off to the Corner in Richmond to see the Hungry Kids Of Hungary perform what can only be described as an ode to summertime. Inflatable palm trees stood amongst the band members on stage and a projector shone an image of swaying palm trees against a sunset onto the wall behind them.
It was amazing. The crowd were great. The band was better. The top two pictures are ones I took, the second one down includes my friend Maddie who decided it'd be fun to get up there with the boys and have a dance. I'm jealous.
