Attn: Curiouser Than Usual Book Club Members

All you Curiouser Than Usual Book Club members (CTUBC) we're having another meet. We were going to read 1985 - George Orwell but I couldn't be motivated enough. So I'm searching for a slightly more engaging novel for all, one that we'll all enjoy reading. One that captures our imaginations in this hideously bland winter we're having. So, suggest away. If any friends think of anything I'll post them here too. Meeting adjourned.

  1. Okay, so far I'm thinking one of the following:

    - An Agatha Christie mystery, like Evil Under The Sun
    - One book from the Anne of Green Gables series by L. M. Montgomery
    - Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
    - Kidnapped or Treasure Island by R. L. Stevenson

But I want to know what you think. Post away.

  2. I vote for My Family & Other Animals by Gerald Durrell. It's the most heartwarming, joyful, laugh out loud book, full of quirky characters (both human and animal).

  3. Yes! I love that book. Good choice. Plus I haven't read it in years. Perfect thought Rhiannon.
